Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have obtained 50% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and also an overall 50% aggregate score at 10+2 level. Candidates who have passed any 10+3 diploma exam with Mathematics as a subject and scored at least 50% marks are also eligible to apply for the exam.

Degree Course, as prescribed by Council of Architecture, a candidate should have passed in 10+2 scheme of examination with PCM subjects or pass in 10+3 Diploma* with Mathematics, as the case may be and have qualified the aptitude test 

About NIFT

Set up in 1986, NIFT is the pioneering institute of fashion education in the country and has been in the vanguard of providing professional human resource to the textile and apparel industry. It was made a statutory institute in 2006 by an Act of the Indian Parliament with the President of India as ‘Visitor’ and has full fledged campuses all across the country. Over the years NIFT has also been working as a knowledge service provider to the Union and State governments in the area of design development and positioning of handlooms and handicrafts.

Today the National Institute of Design is internationally acclaimed as one of the finest educational and research institutions for Industrial, Communication, Textile and IT Integrated (Experiential) Design. It is an autonomous institution under the aegis of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India.
